Senator calls for mandatory domestic-abuse training for all elected representatives

All elected representatives should be trained in how to properly support victims of domestic abuse.

That’s the call from Fianna Fáil senator Teresa Costello, who undertook training during her time on South Dublin County Council.

She wants to see a nationwide programme rolled out.
