The walkway to Drumboe Woods, which has been closed for the past 13 years, will be re-opened before Christmas.
Members of the Lifford–Stranorlar Municipal District received the long-awaited news at yesterday’s meeting.
Now that the extension works at Finn Valley College are complete, the council is set to issue tenders so that the final minor works can be completed in the coming weeks.
