‘Don’t Be That Person’ is the message from the Department of Foreign Affairs, launching a new campaign urging people to check their passport before travelling.
People without a passport or one which has expired, should apply online for a new one as soon as possible.
Applications for newborns and infants, along with renewals and first time applications should be made through the passport portal online.
Helen McEntee, Foreign Affairs Minister says the online system is fast and secure.
