Frustrations have been expressed over the lack of water on Gola Island.
It comes as the island sees an increase in footfall due to the Winter School in Gaoth Dobhair.
Cllr Micheal Choilm Mac Giolla Easbuig says it is unacceptable that island communities are constantly neglected.
He added that while work is being done to promote Gaeltacht areas, the infrastructure is not there to back it up:
