Freezing rain is expected to fall in Donegal until 11am tomorrow morning.
Donegal County Council says some gritting routes could become very treacherous and may not be able to be treated in the morning.
They added that they will try to treat as many routes as possible if safe to do so.
The public are being advised to take extreme care, particularly overnight and tomorrow morning.
