Singer Imelda May has also paid tribute to Mr McCahill, describing him as the glue that held together the community of Ardara.
In a social media post today, she says she had been singing at the Corner House Bar in Ardara, which Mr McCahill co-owned, just last Saturday. She says it’s where he encouraged live music and joy.
