There were 670 admitted patients awaiting beds in hospitals across the country this morning, according to figures from the INMO.
There was a North West total of 93, 40 in Letterkenny University Hospital and 53 in Sligo.
University Hospital Galway accounts for the largest number of people waiting for beds, with 81, followed by University Hospital Limerick with 78.
