Stephen McCahill will be laid to rest on Saturday morning, five days after he was killed in his home in Ardara.
The businessman will be buried following Funeral Mass at 12 noon in the Church of the Holy Family.
His family say his legacy will live on through his tireless work to support communities in south-west Donegal and the many lives he touched.
A 32-year-old man, Michael Maloney of Loughross Point, appeared at Letterkenny District Court last night charged with his murder.
