Derry City business appeals to MLAs over rising pub and hotel rates

A business in Derry City made a public appeal to MLAs after it was decided that non-domestic rates were to increase for pubs and hotels in Northern Ireland.

A 3% increase on regional rates were voted on by MLAs recently, while locally businesses already faced a 4.48% district rate hike.

Quaywest Restaurant shared a copy of their monthly electricity bill, totalling to almost £10,000.
