Two teenagers have died in a crash in Mayo.
The single-car collision happened on a local road at Laghtadawannagh near Ballina shortly after 4.15 this morning.
Two occupants of the car, both men in their late teens, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other occupants, two men in their mid-teens and a woman in her late teens, were taken to Mayo University Hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries.
The road remains closed for a technical examination, with local traffic diversions currently in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward or anyone who may have dash cam footage.
Investigations are ongoing.
