Bord Bia is to meet today to discuss an independent review into the board.
The Irish Farmers’ Association has proposed the review, and wants the chair, Larry Murrin, to stand aside during the review process.
Agriculture Minister Martin Heydon has proposed the board not to meet again until after the review and has asked the IFA to engage in good faith.
He says 140 staff in Bord Bia are still unable to access their office building due to ongoing protests by farmers.
