Derry City and Strabane District will be relaunching the UNESCO Learning City Initiative.
They have partnered with Donegal County Council and the North West Tertiary Education Cluster (NWTEC) to form the North West Learning City Region.
The Learning Festival will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, with more than 40 free events taking place to demonstrate the shared commitment to lifelong learning across the region.
Derry City and Strabane District Council are encouraging people from Derry, Strabane and Donegal to get involved.
