Female trailblazers in Irish medicine are being commemorated in a new set of stamps.
An Post is issuing 4 new stamps celebrating with work of Women Medics over the past 150 years.
Dr. Emily Winifred Dickson the first woman Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, and Dr. Rhona Mahony former Master of the National Maternity Hospital are among those being featured on the black and white images.
