Fall in TV subscriptions while illegal streaming rises – ComReg

There’s been a fall in the number of people paying for TV subscriptions, while dodgy box usage is soaring.

A new ComReg survey shows only 57 per cent of the 3,000 adults it questioned now have pay-tv subscriptions.

That’s down from 70 per cent in 2022.

Meanwhile, it’s estimated 400,000 households have illegal dodgy box services.
