Donegal Airport management is meeting officials from the Department of Transport this morning.
In a statement, Donegal Cancer Flights and Services say the meeting is extremely important for those who rely on the flights.
Last week, the organisation said it was demanding an answer today and that, if the outcome was not the one it wanted, it would protest outside Leinster House.
