IFA calls for adequate budget in CAP ring-fenced for production

The IFA wants an adequate budget in CAP that’s ring-fenced for production.

The organisation says the Common Agriculture Policy needs to reward the active farmer who produces the food.

Agriculture Minister Martin Heydon has announced a one week extension to the public consultation on the future of CAP until next Friday.
