Cllr calls for planning on non-domestic DCB buildings

Plans need to be put in place for non-domestic buildings affected by defective concrete blocks.

Cllr Albert Doherty says a cross-departmental approach is needed to support schools, creches, public service centres, community buildings, and farm outhouses.

He expressed disappointment that the social housing scheme he had hoped would already be rolled out has not yet happened, and wants the request placed on the desk of the Taoiseach.

Cllr Doherty added that Donegal County Council must prepare a contingency plan for Carndonagh Public Services Centre for when remediation becomes necessary:
