Gardaí in Donegal are urging the public to be aware of a fake email that is currently circulating.
It claims to be from the Garda Commissioner and the GNPSB.
Gardaí have confirmed this is a ‘phishing’ email and are asking people to ignore it.
They added that they will never respond the public this way and urge citizens to always be vigilant when opening emails.
