
A Foyle MLA has moved a motion in the Stormont Assembly calling on the Justice Minister to review sentencing frameworks.
This in relation to the sentencing of those convicted for the supply and distribution of drugs.
The SDLP has backed the Jasmine’s Law campaign which calls for judges to consider the vulnerability of those who are supplied drugs as an aggravating factor in sentencing.
