House price inflation falls to two-year low with Donegal among cheapest areas


House price inflation has eased to a two-year low, according to figures from the Central Statistics Office.

Prices rose by 6.5% in the 12 months to March, the lowest annual increase since February 2024, when it stood at 6.2%.

The highest median price recorded was in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown at €685,000, while the lowest was €200,000 in both Donegal and Longford.

By Eircode area, Letterkenny (F92) stood at €262,500, Lifford (F93) at €172,435 and Donegal Town (F94) at €210,000.
