An Inishowen Councillor says without proper regulation, homes in this county will keep crumbling.
Cllr Ali Farren posted a video to his social media, showing the deterioration of his parent’s retirement home, which was built in 2007 and is due for demolition next week.
He said this process can have a mental toll on people who thought they were building their forever homes.
Cllr Farren says he has fears that, due to limited rules and regulations, people will continue to build with defective blocks:
