Woman in court after breaching ban on identifying Jeffrey Donaldson’s victims

A woman has admitted to breaching a lifetime ban on identifying Jeffrey Donaldson’s victims.

The former DUP leader was found guilty in June of 18 historic sex offences against two women when they were children.

The women are entitled to lifetime anonymity by law.

This morning, 55-year-old Donna Toman of Lord Moira Park in Ballynahinch appeared before Downpatrick Magistrates Court, charged with breaching this order on social media.

The court heard she was pleading guilty to the offence, and the judge ordered a pre-sentence report to be prepared by the 12th of October.
