A status yellow rain warning and flood risk have been issued for Donegal.
The alert came into effect at 12pm this afternoon and will last until 9pm this evening.
Widespread heavy showers or longer spells of rain are forecast for the county, with thunderstorms bringing some lightning and hail.
Met Éireann have warned of the possibility of localised flooding, difficult travelling conditions, poor visibility, lightning damage and an impact on outdoor events.
