Gardaí have seized vehicles and issued fixed charge penalty notices in South Donegal.
On Friday they were conducting multi-agency checkpoints with the RSA, Revenue/Customs and the HSA.
3 vehicles were detained for offences relating to no tax/insurance, and a number of fixed charge penalty notices were issued.
RSA and Customs also detected several offences.
An Garda Síochána say joint operations such as these play an important role in improving road safety by ensuring compliance with road traffic legislation.
