Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information following an incident of criminal damage in Killygordan.
This occurred in the area of An Clairin shortly after 11:30pm on Thursday last.
A car that had been parked in the driveway of a house in that area is believed to have been set alight at that time.
The fire services attended the scene and extinguished the fire and a number of neighbouring houses had to be evacuated until the area was deemed safe.
Gardaí appeal to anyone who may have been in the area with a dash-cam between 11pm and 11:30pm to make the footage available.
They are particularly interested in people who may have seen two males on foot in the area at that time.
