Donegal County Council are being urged to meet with Councillors from the Glenties Municipal District as a matter of urgency.
Cllr Micheal Choilm Mac Giolla Easbuig says they want to discuss what they believe is the retention of wages of fire staff on Arranmore.
He has also asked that council staff hold a meeting with the local community in order to outline aspirations go to see a equal fire service on the islands.
