Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an alleged assault that happened in The Diamond, Donegal Town on Sunday.
A man was assaulted there between the times of 1.55am and 2.30am.
He was then transported to hospital by ambulance to receive medical treatment for sustained injuries.
