Arranmore RNLI say they responded to four medical evacuations this month.
Two of these occurred just this week.
The volunteer crew responded to a request from Malin Head Coast Guard to launch the all weather lifeboat “Myrtle Maud” to assist with medical evacuations from the island on the 4th, 12th, 22nd and 25th of September.
The casualties were transferred to waiting ambulances in Burtonport for assessment and treatment in Letterkenny University Hospital.
