Milford is being included in a new initiative designed to bring vacant shops back into use and revitalise town centres across the country being proposed by Junior Minister Alan Dillon.
The ‘Vacant to Vibrant’ programme will initially target 26 towns, with councils and local enterprise offices matching empty premises with businesses needed locally.
Prospective new businesses would then be offered advice, mentoring and marketing support.
