
Ahead of today’s appeal hearing at the High Court in Belfast concerning the A5 road project Donegal-based Senator Niall Blaney has commended an intervention from the North’s Agriculture Minister Andrew Muir.
Senator Blaney says that Minister Muir has supplied documents to the court concerning climate change obligations from the Stormont Assembly.
The appeal is being heard after a previous High Court ruling which quashed the Department of Infrastructure’s go-ahead for works to begin on a comprehensive upgrade of the road.
