Four US companies were responsible for a fifth of electricity usage here last year.
A new analysis by The Business Post shows Meta, Microsoft, Google and Amazon Web Services used 19.7% of the total amount of energy consumed.
Amazon Web Services, which operates a number of data centres here, accounted for around 10% of the total consumption.
