The First Home Scheme has supported 32 home purchases in Donegal, with a further 62 approvals recorded in the county.
The latest performance update shows the Government-backed scheme has supported more than 6,500 home purchases nationwide since its launch in 2022, with over 12,000 approvals issued.
The scheme helps eligible first-time buyers and other qualifying purchasers bridge the gap between their mortgage, deposit and the cost of a new home.
The average support offered nationally is around €67,000, while the price ceiling for houses and apartments in Donegal is €400,000.
