Lifford and Stranorlar councillors have been briefed on how much discretionary funding they’ll have available for local projects.
The Municipal District Budget Meeting for the Lifford/Stranorlar MD has concluded, with Director of Finance Richard Gibson having addressed elected members.
The General Municipal Allocation for Lifford/Stranorlar has been set at €150,000.
That works out at €25,000 for each councillor to allocate towards projects they wish to support in their local areas.
The total General Municipal Allocation for the county of Donegal sits at €925,000.
