19 jobs at FinTrU’s Derry offices are at risk as part of proposed redundancies affecting its Derry and Belfast bases.
The proposals could see 144 positions cut across the two locations.
The Financial Services Union says it is supporting members whose jobs are at risk.
The union also says workers have been advised they may receive only statutory redundancy payments if selected, despite enhanced terms reportedly being offered in previous restructuring exercises.
The union has raised concerns about the procedural fairness of the process and has written to FinTrU chief executive Darragh McCarthy outlining its concerns.
FinTrU says the proposed restructuring follows a strategic review aimed at supporting long-term growth and evolving operational needs. It says it is committed to a fair and transparent consultation process and supporting affected employees, but will not comment further at this time.
