A driver has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving in Letterkenny after testing positive for cocaine.
The Roads Policing Unit stopped the vehicle last night after the ANPR system alerted Gardaí that it was not taxed.
The driver was also found to have no insurance, and the car was seized.
Gardaí are reminding motorists never to drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol and not to take risks with road safety.
