Reigning Division 1 Champions Donegal will start their 2027 National Football League campaign in Castlebar at the home of the All Ireland Champions Mayo on Saturday 23rd January.
The draft fixtures have been sent to the county boards with proposed changes to be returned to the GAA’s Central Competitions Control Committee before finalizing the match details.
Elsewhere in round 1, new Galway boss Eamonn Fitzmaurice will face his native Kerry on the opening weekend at Pearse Stadium. Armagh take on Roscommon and Cork host Meath as both newly promoted sides meet early in the competition.
