No non-compliances found by HIQA at two Donegal residential care centres

Two Donegal residential care centres for people with disabilities have been found to be fully compliant with regulations following inspections by HIQA this summer.

Lifford Accommodation, which provides full-time residential care and support for six adults with intellectual disabilities, was subject to an unannounced inspection on June 17th, with six residents present.

The inspector found no areas of non-compliance, noting that effective governance arrangements and a high standard of care and support contributed to residents feeling safe and happy in their homes.
