Donegal County Council’s Central Planning Unit has commenced work on a formula through which there can be regular monitoring reports on County Development Plan.
Members were told recently it will monitor how core strategies such as housing completions are achieved, as well as monitoring progress toward achieving specific plan objectives in areas such as strategic roads, active travel and community infrastructure.
The model will also asses how the plan is performing in terms of the various environmental indicators identified in the Environmental Report.
