Gardaí are appealing for information in connection with a criminal damage incident that occurred at a house in Bluestack Park, Donegal Town shortly before 2 o’clock on Sunday morning.
A resident in a house at that location heard a disturbance, and when he looked outside, he could see that his car had been covered in eggs and flour.
He opened his front door, and a male youth who was of slight build, approx. 5ft 5 in height and wearing a dark jacket and a red hoodie threw a lit firework into his
hallway before running away. The firework then exploded in the hallway.
Gardai say no damage was caused and no-one was injured.
They’re appealing to anyone who may have dash-cam footage from that area between 1.30 and 2.30 on Sunday morning to make it available. Any relevant information should be passed on to Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.
