There are calls for the Government to intervene in ESB price increases at EV charging points, like it did with fuel prices.
The largest charging operator In the country, has hiked the price at its charging points by between 15 and 18 per cent.
It means electric car owners will now have to pay up to 12 euro more at the one thousand 600 ESB public chargers across the country.
