A book of evidence is to be served on a Letterkenny-based woman accused of assaulting a Garda at a courthouse.
Donegal District Court today fixed September 7th as the day on which the book is to be served on 37-year-old Mary Kamunya.
The defendant, with an address at The Maples, Lismonaghan, Letterkenny, is accused of assault causing harm to Garda Sheanagh Mary Carroll at the courthouse, Bridge Street, Donegal town, on November 10, 2014.
Defence solicitor Rory O’Brien said the charge was being contested and a specific defence would be put forward.
Supt Colm Nevin applied for an adjournment so the book of evidence could be served.
Judge Kevin Kilrane remanded the defendant on continuing bail until September 7th.
