A Donegal County Council Delegation is in Dublin today for a meeting with the NRA.
It’s the annual meeting between the council and the authority, with Mayor Cllr Cora Harvey saying there is a need to progress a number of key projects and that will be stressed.
The projects to be highlighted include the Ballybofey/Stranorlar Bypass, Dungloe Glenties, Letterkenny Relief Road, Manorcunningham Lifford and the connection from Lifford to the new A5.
Cllr Harvey says however that as well as addressing a number of key road projects, the council will also be quizzing the NRA about the shortage of salt during the cold snap before Christmas, and demanding the council be able to make its own arrangements from now on:
