A Letterkenny councillor says he cannot see how a rates increase could be justified at a time when businesses in the area are being compromised by traffic delays.
Cllr Donal Mandy Kelly is calling for a review of the active travel works that are ongoing in a number of areas, saying they have already proven to be a disaster, and he believes the worst is yet to come.
Speaking on today’s Greg Hughes Show, Cllr Kelly said officials will be looking for a rates increase when preliminary discussions start shortly on Budget 2027, but he cannot see how such a request could be supported…………..
