Motorists in Northern counties of the country are being warned to exercise caution on the roads in the coming days as Met Eireann warns of a risk of snow and ice.
The British Met Office has also issued a yellow weather warning for Northern Ireland which will come into force at 6 o’clock tonight and remain in place until Wednesday morning.
People are warned to expect possible travel disruption and power cuts with up to 10 centimeters of snow expected to fall on higher ground.
