22 people awaiting admission to LUH

There were 22 people awaiting admission to Letterkenny University Hospital this morning according to the INMO.
One person was on a trolley in its Emergency Department while a further 21 people were waiting on wards.
The number is down four on yesterday’s figure of 26.
Cork University Hospital was the most overcrowded with 41 people waiting there.
Nationally, there were 396, an increase of 23% on the same day last year when there were 321 patients on trolleys.
