A late scoring flourish from Derry was too much for Donegal today in their Christy Ring Cup Group 1 Round 2 clash at Owenbeg in a game that finished 0-20 v 1-14 in favour of the hosts.
Donegal led for most of the game, leading by 1-12 v 0-07 at half-time but they managed to score just two points in the second half and 4 late points from Derry gave them a one point win.
Danny Cullen scored 1-07 for Donegal.
