Cloughaneely’s Regional League game with St Michael’s will go ahead this afternoon after a player from the Pairc Naomh Fionnan club returned a negative Covid-19 test.
On Saturday afternoon Donegal GAA announced that the game between the two clubs had been postponed as a precaution after a Cloughaneely player reported positive symptoms in his Health Questionnaire.
In line with the GAA protocols in regards to the situation, everyone in the club who was in contact with the player went into self isolation.
Last night, the club announced that the player in questions test came back negative.
In a statement the club said: “We are delighted to say that our short suspension of club activities has been lifted as a Covid test came back negative. All activities can resume.”
It was confirmed by Donegal GAA, that the game which was due to take place on Saturday evening will now be played this afternoon.
