Further calls for action on overcrowding at LUH

 

There’s further calls on the Government to address overcrowding at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Donegal Deputy Thomas Pringle in the Dail yesterday, lobbied the Tanaiste to act to ease the pressure on healthcare workers, given the significant increase in the number of infectious cases of Covid-19 being dealt with at the hospital.

Deputy Pringle backed calls from the INMO for the HSE to declare the overcrowding in hospitals an emergency situation until Easter at the earliest.

He told the Dail that he believes mask wearing is impacting on the rise in Covid cases:
