A Glenties councillor has raised concerns, after it’s believed that a number of households currently affected by the boil water notice on the Lettermacaward Water Supply were not informed of the notice.
The boil water notice has been in place for Lettermacaward as well as Portnoo, Rossbeg, Cleangort, Doochary, Meenacross, Dooey, Glenties Road, Maghery and Falmore for a week.
Cllr Michael Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig says that several people were not contacted regarding the notice – and that this may have led to a child getting sick as a result:
