The main event of the centenary celebration of Michael Collins’ death will take place this afternoon at the site of the ambush at Béal na Bláth in Cork.
Speeches will be made by Taoiseach Micheal Martin and Tanaiste Leo Varadkar.
Numerous celebrations of Collins are taking place in his native West Cork and across the country during this weekend.
